Mark: We're taking a break for a few weeks.
So we've got 2 songs recorded and mixed, both 'Shattered Glass' and 'Suicide Girls' are finished for now. We might at some point come back to re-assess given time, that's the beauty of having our own studio! but for now they're done. The main tracking for 'Princess 6' and 'Roulette' (ex-'Keep It In') is also done, still waiting vocals and the studio completely operating which took a bit longer than we thought.
We're happy with how it's all sounding and pleased that it sounds like a proper album and not a tape machine in a garage! (which can sound cool too!)
Tim is on vacation for the next few weeks and Rick left New York for Scotland yesterday, he was off to buy a new white suit he spied before heading to the airport! We plan to get back to work again in August. Tim's got a load of lyrics to write and we want to finish all the demo's off too. Hopefully we'll get back to album tracking at the end of August / start of September and we'll then nail the songs we think are best.
Until then Mark will be working with the new webdesigner to get the new official site into shape and also put up more content on the myspace.
