News from Mark (April 13th 2004)

...The Boy's Are Back In Town... 

Ash will be back in their beloved homeland to play a week's worth of shows and promotion, here's the schedule; 

Thursday 22nd April: Our show at the 'Temple Bar Music Centre' in Dublin is 
Sold Out! If you already have a ticket support comes from our mates in 'The 
Answer' and 'The Debonaires' 

Friday 23rd April: We head to the RTE television studios to record a 
performance for 'The Late Late Show'. 

Saturday 24th April: Westlife! Ash head to the west coast of Ireland and 
play the Cuba, Eyre Square in Galway. Support again comes from our friends 
in 'The Answer' and 'The Debonairs' 
 
Sunday 25th April: Ash are to play an open air event in Northern Ireland at 
the 'One Big Sunday' in Derry with BBC Radio 1. Bizarrely enough Kelis and 
Avril Lavigne are playing below us!

Monday April 26th April: 10 years on from the historic show which got them 
signed, Ash return to their hometown and play the 'Down Arts Centre'. 
Tickets are now on sale at usual outlets in Belfast and from The Arts 
Centre. Support comes from Ex-Lazergun Nun members, 'Circus Valley Reds' and upcoming Downpatrick Metal Kids 'Acidtone'. 

Wednesday 28th April: Ash will be pre-recording a performance on a barge 
floating in the Lagan for the 'Belfast Music Live' Event. There's a rumoured 
special guest appearing... This will be broadcast on BBC Television later in 
the week.

...Be-achin'... 

Sunday 6th of June: Ash will 'perform' live at T4's Pop Beach event in Great 
Yarmouth. The show will be filmed and televised live on channel 4. 

...Pixies meet Leprechauns... 

Personal dreams come true as Ash are confirmed to support the Pixies in 
Berlin on 29th June at KINDLBUHNE WUHLHEIDE and also in Paris on the 14th June. 

...More Festival Madness... 

Ash are confirmed for both the Oxygen festival in Ireland and T in the Park 
in Scotland in July. 
 
Ash are confirmed to play Germany at the Southside festival on the 25th of 
June, and the Hurricane festival on the 26th of June. 

Ash are confirmed to play the Fuji Rock Festival this summer in Japan. We 
are to headline the Red Marquee on Sunday 1st August.
